My best friend Amber's boyfriend has a band and they are looking for a new female singer since the other girl quit. They were going to hold audtions but I said I was interested and he decided to just put me in it. Over the last couple of days, he has been teaching me the songs and complimenting me by telling me how great I am. Now, Amber's mad at me! And she says I'm after her boyfriend but I'm not and the truth is I think he's kind of ugly. I'm so hurt by this, I have other friends but she is my only real friend if you know what I mean. What should I do?

just dont be in the band then. i mean she is just jealous that you are spending time with him. so solve the time problem by not being in the band. i mean...if you are passionate about singing and being in the band...then really sit down and talk to her about the problem. i mean you cant let a guy come between you, right?

Amber is jealous that you are the new singer in the band. She maybe was going to try out and you were given the job. Likely, that is the very reason why there were no tryouts...they knew you could sing, so the job was yours. Amber is probably a marginal singer. None of the rest of the band want to put up with her and she would not have won the tryout...and that would have been problems with the boyfriend in the band. Tell Amber again that you are ONLY the singer, not looking for a boyfriend. If she is jealous and doesn't believe you, ignore her.

Just tell her your ONLY INTEREST is of the band. You do not have any interest in her b/f. Tell her friends do NOT do things behind friend's backs. Then say, you're my friend, aren't you? Just tell her you're not the kind of person to hurt someone you like. Then just give her a big smile & a hug...

She is probably just a bit jealous. Talk to her and tell her how you feel about her silly accusations and make it plain that those are not your intentions to take her ugly man. Hopefully she wil listen and get over it! If not; she wasnt really your "real friend" after all!

i think ur girl has problems... no offense... but she needs to trust you and know that you wouldn't do anything to hurt her, and well, if she doesn't, she's not being sensible... you should talk to her and explain... if she's a real friend she'll understand and if she doesn't, she's gonna lose a good friend and gain a guy that might be gone tommorow... her loss...

Well if she's ur best friend and ur hers then she should kno that ur not after her boyfriend and u should keep telling her ur not after him or u could not be in the band and keep ur friendship
