i was asking about top contributor badges being taken away from P&S. i said that if they're going to take away P&S badges then they should take them away from every category. this is what Y!A staff had to say about it:

We've been constantly tweaking the algorithm behind TC badges ever since it was launched, to recognize members who are contributing high-quality content as well as actively participating. This would explain the disappearance and gaining of badges.
