Now after you break it all down with nba titles, honors, stat titles, and etc., you can then see that other NBA Players has made a better mark for greatness then Kobe has. You see what Wade has done in ONLY 4 seasons? He's already got a NBA Finals MVP, Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the Year, and etc. I bet after 11 seasons his RESUME is going to BLOW Kobe's away!

Agree with you, Shaq is the man that make anything happen when he's there. Wade got so much better when Shaq arrive coincidence I think not. Also I believe kobe got better because of Shaq. If Shaq wasn't in lakers in whole careerr kobe will not be the so called "best player" anymore. The only reason Kobe can score 30+ is because Shaq is not there anymore. Remember the year everyone say kobe is a ball hog and the next season he try to pass but no one can score? It is because he's not a good passer. Look at some of the game where he try to give a loob to lebron or howard, mostly it's too high. Remember the season where he had Shaq, payton, malone in his team? his assist is only 5.9, so with good player around him he only can get 0.5 more assist with the good team. One word, force Kobe force a lot of shot, and he also force a lot of passed. He only try to pass because people call him ballhog and he wants to show that he's not.
Anyway Kobe is good at creating his own shot, but he is not the kind of player you want to put o.k player around him. Player that can make his teammate better is Shaq, duncan, nash, lebron. I bet you if nash put into the lakers team he would score 20ppg and at least 8assist per game.
Kobe does not suck but he's not best of all time, you can say best for around 1-2 years more. that's it.

Hey loser 10 year old go somewhere else besides the stupid computer go to any Lakers game and see what a great player Kobe is ok. And by the way Sports Illustrated.......good magazine but the award doesnt mean anything.

miami was nothing without shaq and wade is good but he wouldnt have gotten the ring without shaq. even in the playoffs, without shaq (i dont remember but im pretty sure he was out or injured or something) miami didnt get past the first round. kobe is the best in the game right now, he just doesnt have a team around him.
