Why, yes! In fact, a gentleman named Lewis Carroll wrote a book based on the experiences of a young lass, Alice Liddell, who had actually been there. A fascinating account.

Did you ever read the trilogy with the Amber Spyglass? check it out. They each have their own talking animal attached to them and they are attached through this energy. All the animals talk. Sorry never went there myself. I think it all has to do with dark matter and string theory.

Seriously, no. Animals don't have the physical equipment for human speech, in this dimension or, I suspect, any other. Animals communicate with us, but not in human words.
