I don't think in the actual practice of surgery there is any math going on. I think you totally miss the point. Learning various subjects is not for the use of it in a certain profession.
When you are an athlete, you do a whole lot of exercise that you don't think are directly associated with your sport. As an athlete you do alot of exercises that make you stronger, That you don't use in your sport.
In education you learn alot of various subjects, most that you will never use, but you are strengthening your brain by learning various subject matter, and becoming as strong in those subjects as you can! Your brain is getting stronger, you will always use that in your life!

im gonna be a surgeon!!!!!!
not too much math if you want to be a basic surgeon but depending on ortheo, cardio, resperatory, nerval, reconscructive, or plastic. The consult does all the math

I would say take bio and AP bio. Work on math too, in terms of clubs, any club the takes alot of hand eye work, see if you can get a independant study if you are really into this and are self modivated.

believe it or not it's not that bad, just some chemistry type math which is equivalent to low tech calc.
