I'm beginning to see a lot of stupidity on the celebrity section when it comes to people defending celebrities they don't know personally. It's good to be inspired by someone's success, but it doesn't make any "sense" to idolize them and neglect your own self-worth. How will you ever know what you are capable of if you just pay attention to someone else's life?

Remember this: "don't follow the leader; become a leader."

I like you. You're bloody right but its hard to get that mentality out and among the people because they're too content with the world & their place in it. Those words are the start of a revolution ... spread them.

Me? _ I'm a leader & a follower. I lead when I think there's a purpose behind it & there's something I need to stand up for. I like the 'soap box' i get to stand on every now and then. But do I lead people? No _ these days there's no revolution. There's no chance to become a leader amongts the 'people' becuase people are too lazy to fight for what they believe in. That's why I like your words... these things need to be said.

When I follow its for my country. I love Austrlaia - we're one of the most peacful and isolated for all the 'crap' out there. Its an amazingly gifted country to live in.

I'm reading 'Working Class Hero' by John Lennon & its making so much sence.

As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so ******* crazy you can't follow their rules
When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and class less and free
But you're still ******* peasants as far as I can see
There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill

I agree :)

for myself...I can be both sometimes; depends on the situation. When I played softball, I was captain so of course I had to act like a leader. When it comes to big groups, such as school things...I'm more of a follower because I don't like to stand out. I'd like to think I'm in between though...which I consider to be a good thing :)
