I had one like 10 years ago in a small town and they let me go with just paying the court cost since I got the tag current. This time I got pulled over on a sunday and got my tags up to date the following monday. This one is at the county courthouse

I was stopped for an expired registration as well. I brought it up to date. I appeared in court and the Judge asked if it was current. I said yes, the case was dismissed.

You've been watching too much Law and Order. You've fixed the problem. Most judges will settle for the court cost. Don't go into court and tell the judge you want a deal, please.

Just bring your paperwork and be honest and with any luck you might get a judge that will let you slide.

What a f(*&%(%) joke! you knew you had to renew them, didn't you. So,why not renew ON TIME theb and save yourself the aggrivation.
