Its perfectly normal. my baby girl also had them alot for like her first 3 months and she also had them alot when she was inside. Dont worry. It bothered me too. Theres really nothing you can do. One thing I know you can try is just to give him just a little sip of water, not a whole bottle. Sometimes that helps. Other than that you just have to deal with it. Enjoy your little one!

Hiccups are very normal. I have a 6 week old (7 tomorrow) and she gets them all the time. I know this sounds weird but you might try feeding him just a little or (if he uses one) try a binky. Of course it may not work for every baby but seemed to help for my daughter. The only other thing is to wait it out.

There really isn't anything you can do. I wondered the same thing. Almost all newborns get the hiccups frequently. We just have to deal with it. It'll go away after a while. My son is now 5 mo and rarely gets them.

it extremely is time-honored for a touch one this age to have hiccups. Mine too consistently having hiccups till at present whilst she is around 2 months outdated, then the hiccups getting much less. oftentimes it is going to bypass away after 5-10 minutes. in certainty, for the duration of my toddler's first month bypass to to the paediatrician, till now I truly have a raffle to ask the physician, he already toldl me appropriate to the hiccup and had given me a e-e book "A mom and dad' handbook to new child babies"

I have twin boys that are 1 year and a half now. One of my sons had hiccups a lot as an infant too. He grew out of it as he got older, it's just air in his tummy. Nothing to worry about.

hiccups don't bother newborns at all. you are right it does bother you more than him. we went through this too. when i was pregnant i felt him having hiccups everynight at the same time, when he was born he continued this. it does go away with time....there isn't much you can do in the mean time. we tried a bunch of things and nothing seemed to help, its just something that they do
good luck!

I doubt that there is anything that you can do for them. As the baby gets older and more developed he will probably get them less. He is having to learn how to do everything, including eating and breathing at the same time. Time is probably the only thing that will bring resolution.

did you know one of the main reasons babies (people in general) get hiccups is because they eat too fast? its all dealing with the diaphram...thats the case with my 6wk old. when i go to feed him he slups me down like hes never gonna eat again and the hiccups surely follow. dont worry they dont really bother him at all i'm sure...

My four month old has gotten them since day 1. I usually give her a binky or they say not to give them water but sometimes I give her a few drinks of water. Just enough to get rid of the hiccups.
