The show takes subjects of 5th grade books and then makes up a really hard question in that category. Also, I think how "smart" you are is determined by whether you can recognize the right choice. Choosing the right choice is just good judgement, though. But if you mean can I answer the questions that are asked by Foxworthy, then no.

I used to be smarter than the average 5th grader when I WAS in 5th grade. I recently took one of those tests that 5th graders are supposed to know, and I must say I haven't kept up. Time and gravity have been catching up with me. Kicking and screaming approach doesn't seem to help!!!

I've watched that show often enough to know I am definitely not smarter than a 5th grader. I'd be too embarassed to try out for that show.

Yes I am. I'm not an adult so I haven't completely lost my memory for 5th grade.
