What kind of person votes for someone like him?

It's evidently because the bar on moral/ethical standards for Democrats is very low. From what I hear the man is still a very heavy drinker today. But Democrats accept that and behavior like Bill Clinton's as OK as long as they stay Democrat although they will point out every mistake made by Republicans. There are also die hard party Democrats who really don't care about anything else but the party. I think it's up to Republicans to do differently and keep kicking out our bad apples.

He is from a state where the majority are Liberal, they would rather keep him in office than risk having a Repub get voted in.. They really dont have high standards, anyways.

No one has opposed him with enough money to turn the tide.
Morons from Massachusetts continue to vote in characters like him, Barney Frank, Gerry Studds and their ilk.

For the same reason an alcholic coke head is the President and Parish Hilton almost got let of of jail for a "skin condition"


The ruling class believe that they are above the law - that the rules are for the rest of us -

And we the public allow it - So really it is our fault that we have created allowed and encouraged a class of people to exist rule over us take our money and not apply by any of the rules that the rest of us must

Obviously, people who are more concerned about the way he votes in office than what he did decades ago.

As to him being a drunk driver -- is that something recent (within the past decade)? -- or are you going back several decades to the other unproven charges against him?
