I've looked on ebay, amazon, and bestbuy so if you actually know of a specific place please let me know. I've owned a copy of it so I know it does exist. I don't want to cheat and set my DVD player to show a widescreen movie in fullscreen mode. (lowers the quality) Thanks for any help.

I own the D-Day special commemerative edition (the more expensive version) and the Widescreen is barely noticable. I had to check the box to make sure it actually was in Widescreen because I didnt remember it being in Widescreen.

I wasn't able to find it doing a quick search. But if you are worried about degrading the quality, watching it in full screen is about the worst thing you can do. I'm sure you've been told about how much of the screen gets cut out for a full screen (or Pan & Scan) version.

Look at this link. The red box represents your full TV screen. The black box represents the actual picture of a movie in the Scope aspect ratio. When you watch these movies in full screen, you are not seeing everything that is in the black sections. It winds up being almost 1/2 of the frame you're not seeing.

I've looked just about everywhere for a full screen version for the past couple months. i think they filmed it in widescreen to get a better picture and aspect of the movie, and they may not have made it in full screen on a DVD.
