I have a macbook pro 2006 2ghz core dure 1. First time I install and use TOAST , is this normal is still on preparing after 4 hours!!!

Nope, it takes a lot less time. Reinstall the Toast software and make sure you are not running all your other applications. Toast for me burns a 30 minute DVD in about 10 minutes.

No. You have some issue somewhere along the line. Were you running a lot of other programs at the same time? if so, that would cause it to prep slower. Also, if it was an RW disc then it would gave taken longer as well.

Re download it then go to Roxio's site and make sure you are up to date.
