Although I'm a huge Dolphins fan I hate to say it, but no. They won't make the playoffs this year because they just don't yet have enough offensive firepower. They are building, but Trent Green isn't the solution. He's there to keep the team in contention and that's about it. Once they develop Beck and Lemon and get a couple other guys to step up at receiver other than Booker and Chambers they'll be ok. The major problem though is the offensive line. Each year in and out the offensive line struggles. This year the Dolphins line is very young and it's going to take several games before they gel together. This is a team rebuilding it's offense and the defense is unfortunately starting to age. Hopefully they can get the offense put back together in time so they don't waste one hell of a defense. I think this year is hopefully an 8-8 season. Look for development of the young players and lets watch and see for the next couple of seasons.

It is very possible but it really depends on how effective their new offense will be. Cam Cameron will do alot of things different from Saban. Cameron is a most agressive play caller and is willing to take chances. Our offensive line will determine how far we go. If you offensive line holds up they should be able to run consistently with Ronnie Brown/Jesse Chatman/Lorenzo Booker. Trent Green is way past his prime but he is a upgrade from Harrington. Although their defense is getting old they still have one of the better defenses in the league. The two places that will determine how far they go this season will be their O-line and secondary. I do believe Cameron is the right person for the job and will get a playoff berth for the Dolphins.

No, they'll probably go 8-8 at best. They need to concentrate on rebuilding for the future. Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor are getting old, they need to think about the next generation
