question about spiritual marriage?

husand and wife become one in heaven. is there a way you can be married spiritually even though u werent physically married by law? because i love this girl and we are in love and we want to get married but what happens if the world ends before we get married? is there anyway we can be spiritually married with god?

well, this, along with many other things, requires speculation. I've seen nothing to specifically address this matter. and, because we don't specifically know what will happen when we reach heaven, speculation and interpretation is all we have. however, God is all you need to be married spiritually. as long as you are living a life glorious to him, loving your spouse like Christ loved the Church, and avoiding sins such as adultery and fornication, I see no reason why you won't be "spiritually united" in the eyes of God, and therefore united with your love in heaven. but, I am no scholar, and as I said, this is only my personal interpretation. I certainly hope you find your answer with your pastor or clergyperson. good luck!

1) The world isn't going to end.
2) You can have a holy man marry you without signing a marriage certificate...it just won't be recognized as a marriage by the state till you do.
3) As long as you have God in your hearts, isn't that what matters?
