Plastic, then I can put it over my evil teddy bear's head and suffocate him. By the way, how is your bear acting now?

When I get into the check out lane I always go through this same question, "Will that be paper or plastic?" Humm, I think to myself if I have to choose between the two, which one, again. It's like being asked to pick a gender --"will that be a boy or a girl?"

so, I'll put my sugar and spice and everything nice into the plastic (girl) bag and the frogs and snails and puppy dog tails in to the brown (boy) paper bag. And I have the cashier insert the paper bag into the plastic bag.

Before plastic, they used waxed paper, which is interesting. I guess I've felt a certain closeness to paper where plastic leaves me cold.

Paper when I want to bring a paper bag home for my cat to play in. Plastic other times. I know that environmentally I shouldn't go with plastic, but I reuse every bag that comes home with me. It might be as a trash liner in the bathroom or the cat litter may go into one of the bags when I'm emptying out her box.

Paper.

Just like I would prefer to have milk in bottles rather than plastic and groceries in brown paper bags. I just like it that way.
