Scooter Libby is the scape goat of a political agenda, the Democrats want to hurt Bushes administration any way they can, not that he hasn't hurt it enough himself.

But Libby was convicted of the same thing Martha Stewart was convicted of, the same thing Bill Clinton was. Not that he committed any actual crime, but that he committed perjury when testifying to the grand jury.

The Republicans had Clinton, the Dems just wanted their turn. And Scooter was thrown under the bus, by Carl Rove and Dick Chaney. But Bush bailed him out.

So we are back to square one.

I just want to know when are we going to stop attacking with slings and arrows and get back to the business of doing what is best for the country, not what is best for your party!!!

But hey, he was only "doing his job" as part of Bush administration "spin control" because a CIA operative's husband, a US Ambassador to Iraq, investigated and proved that the administration's intel about Iraq attempting to buy uranium was false.

They hate him because they have an irrational hatred of anything connected with Bush. He was dumb enough not to plead the 5th on an issue that wasnt even against the law, tripped up and made contradictory statements and bam- guilty of something.
Not only was Plame not "outed" by him, she was not covert so couldnt be outed. There was no crime.
he should have learned from Clinton- Dont lie about something under oath or you will get smacked with that even if there was no original crime.

I am Jewish so that makes no sense. I do not "hate" him either. He is a convicted criminal who got off easy because he is one of the President's cronies. Let's just say I am not very fond of him. This statement is untrue and ludicrous.
