What can someone do if they have my mac address, in terms of tracking me down?

Not too much, they can just know who manufactured your network device. The only thing they can do is, if they have physical access to your computer, know that it is the same MAC address they found.

Hi. The MAC address is unique to a particular computer. If the have access to the computer, they can find your MAC.

Your mac address is not broadcast past the first router, so normally not much. How do they have your mac address?

nothing really. they just no it. if you have wireless they can get on your wireless, they could do that anyway unless you have password and stuff
