Didn't I already answer this in your "area of a rectangle" question??

If you're looking at length, then it's 18 feet
1 yard = 3 feet so it's 6 feet x 3 feet = 18 feet or 6 yards
ie 18/3 = 6 yards

or - if you're looking at area

6 feet long x 3 feet wide = 18 square feet or
2 yards (6 feet) x 1 yard = 2 square yards

Yep its true 6ft. x 1 yd. =18ft. or 6yd.
