What if?
That would be in opposition to our Federalist system of government, since schools are locally funded.

Waste. Complete waste.
Schools have so much money that it's coming out of their ears. Perhaps our children might be better served by eliminating the hundreds of levels of bureaucracy that devour their money.
With over $100,000 in every classroom as it is, I'm sure that we can do just fine.
As for the power grids, the best way to fix them would be to have the government sell the infrastructure. Private companies wouldn't let their property decay the way that the government has.

Halliburton would get cost over runs to about a trillion with a T and then abondon the project for security reasons. Those kids are tough, and the wire for power grids well thats expensive. But at least the government would be on the right track.

It should be about 5 times as effective as the $100 Billion that has been spent in New Orleans in the past 2 years by the U.S. government. Everyone is still complaining down there, so I would expect 5 times as much complaining if your proposal were to take effect.

My guess, our economy would truly be strong, there would be good jobs for Americans and we could all take pride in the fact we are leaving something better for our descendants than when we arrived. Our citizens along the gulf coast might even be able to have their lives back. Six years after nine-eleven and our borders are not secured and two years after Katrina the gulf coast is still mostly sitting. It's shameful.

The academic performance would not improve. The government should encourage building of nuclear power plants to reduce our dependency on oil. Tax breaks should be given to people to convert their cars to run on natural gas.

It would make too much sense to do that. What about starving AIDS victims in Africa? What about foreign aid for oil-rich Arab nations? What about sending Astronauts to the Moon to play with moon dust? Isn't going to the Moon more important than keeping bridges from collapsing?

You are talking logically. What do you think this has to do with the Government? There is not 1 current problem that they have even come close to solving.

by way of fact your matters are sheep. they don't understand that contractors in Iraq are paid with US tax money, over a hundred and fifty,000 in line with year in line with man or woman. We construct new roads, hospitals, bases, and so forth throughout Iraq, and it expenditures critically extra effective than it would to construct here by way of fact we settlement our artwork out for over 6 figures in line with worker. yet paying Blackwater, Halliburton workers huge quantities of taxpayer money and spending trillions on a conflict that aggravated terrorism does not sign in interior the minds of a huge form of human beings.
