I was negative for everything else. My company has these done every year at the start of school. A van comes into the yard and they only do the bare minimun.

It depends on how much protien is in your urine. Also, if you are not clean and tidy around your labia, when you urinate, you will show some protien. If your on your period you will have protien in your urine.
Exersize will cause you to have protien in your urine
Hypertension will cause you to have protien in your urine.
Im just another crazy nurse. Dont fret. Its probably nothing unless its really a high amount. In that case you will need to follow up with your MD.

okay. spilling up to 150 grams of protein in the urine is considered normal. if it was more than that, you really ought to request a copy of the test to be sent to your doctor and followed up. it may not be anything to worry about, but if you do have a problem with kidney function, it's best to treat as early as possible.

you need to get your kidneys checked
there are kidney disorders that will cause you to spill protein
