Yeah, right. Craig got caught red-handed--and pleaded guilty.
His self-righteous intolerance of gays andhypocritical "moral values" stancewas pure BS.
Is ta tridiculous? Look at Vitter--making a pretense of "family values" while consorting with hookers; Foley--supposedly protecting children while actually preying on them; Ted Haggard--preaching his intolerant perversion of Our LordsGospel while using meth.
The right-wing might as well give up their arrogant pretense of having any moral values, much less being exemplars of morality. Theier true, perverted nature has been well and thoroughly exposed. No one is being fooled anymore.

I am sorry you feel that way but unfortunately, the Conservative Coalition of Idaho is calling for his resignation, I don't see many liberals seeking his head on a platter. The Republican leadership has insisted that he resign from all committees and boards immediately.
Apparently they were convinced because the Senator knew certain signals/gestures for arranging such activities, and that's why they just announced their decision.
So call it the Jim Mc Greevey effect if you like, but there wasn't a liberal pundit in the men's room, it was an undercover cop in response to numerous lewd activities.
If the situation doesn't seem bad enough or could have been just an innocent accident, think again since we got a TMI situation in our office today that was better than Fox News on this matter.
One of our field reps was in the office today seeking advice and was genuinely at once pissed-off, upset and also had to be brought down to Earth today because - frankly - he had us in the office laughing out loud today.
He was really upset and was initially taking the whole thing very badly and quite personally - not for the political flap but since he's "confirmed single" (read so far out of the closet he couldn't find it again, if he had to).
His problem/perspective was completely different, and pretty much hilarious for those of us in the office with whom he chose to discuss the matter.
Since as far as he was concerned he really liked that airport because he had a "regular" thing hooking up with this "really hot" TSA officer that he liked and would meet there for hookups in that same bathroom.
He was pissed off at the situation because now he doesn't know where to hookup when he goes to St. Paul on Monday.
We've recommended that he get a steady boyfriend and/or not wear his heart on his sleeve regarding such personal matters.

A liberal man hunt? So why then did he plead guilty to the charges, never even told his wife about being arrested and pleading guilty, and did his best to keep his arrest and guilty plea out of the public eye? That seems the actions of a very guilty man. I think you need to change your question to .......Do you think Senator Craig is a hypocrite who is the victim of his own perverted and sick mind?

He plead guilty in a court of law. That's not a political witch hunt, it's court record. No straight man in the world would ever agree to that arrangement.
Imagine if it were you. You're in the bathroom, tapping your feet to the sounds in your ipod, when you realize you're out of toilet paper, so you reach under the stall to ask the girl next to you for some. As you wash your hands before you leave, she pulls out a badge and writes you a ticket for attempting to solicit sexual favors from her. Would you plead guilty for that under any circumstances?

Well is either he is the dumbest senator in history by pleading guilty of something he didn't do and kept it quiet form everybody he knows or he is actually guilty of what he was accused and admitted guilt.
Either way he caused the action and the reaction. Therefor the witch-hunt if any was created by him.

I don't think he's guilty either of his behavior in the bathroom, but he plead guilty and didn't even tell anyone what happened. That was the dumbest thing to do, that makes it seem like he is guilty. I don't think his conduct was representative of what a senator should do.

Read the police complaint before you go blaming political parties for something that HE did.
Craig broke the law. A very minor law, at that. End of story.
It's not a witch hunt -- he plead guilty.

Not a chance in the world! He plead guilty because he was guilty. He just thought that by pleading out, he could somehow keep in hidden. I personally would have a lot more respect for him if he just admitted to who he is.

I don't buy that. I doubt the officer in the airport that found him was "witchhunting" based on his beliefs because he didn't see they guy well enough to know who he was. Now, after word got out, I'm sure some people are going overboard with it, but look at how that happens with celebrities now.

If the man did it, he's a homo and by the "Psychiatric Association" pre-1980's...he's sick.
He made some anti-homo comments and COULD have been set up by stalkers...
Democrats treat it as NOTHING...when Democrats do it OPENLY and indescretely...I say much ado about NOTHING!
Witchhunt!
