"Shake and bake" is the usual method. Put however many crickets you are feeding in a bag with a small amount of the powder.... and gently shake. Only dust the ones you are actually putting in for the frog immediately. Also feed your crickets with some fruit and veg before you use them. This will supply added nutrition for your frog.
The whole purpose of dusting is to make sure your frog gets more calcium then phosphorous in his diet. It should be a ratio of about 2 to 1. Crickets already contain a lot of phosphorous but little calcium. It's more effective to use a supplement that is only calcium and is phosphorous- free because you don't need to be adding phosphorous to the diet. There's plenty in the crickets already.

I feed my crickets fish food and fruit (oranges and bananas) covered with the calcium. Then I put them in a gallon zip lock bag with a little calcium and shake em till they are covered. Then I just put them in my geckos viv. I keep a piece of fruit in the viv too in case he doesnt eat all the crickets. Not only does my leo like the orange but it keeps the cricket from bothering my lizard!!

hi there
you can get a food called gut load from pet stores which they eat and this is full of everything you need to feed your frog also put some apple or carrot in with the crickets as this way they get moisture as well also a small container with some cotton wool and put a small amount of water on it , not too much as they will drown, just moist OK hope this helps. i have 3 frogs of my own, wonderfull creatures
