They are imune to there own venom. That's why antivenom is made from the real stuff.

When a venomous snake bite itself, most commonly there won't be venoms released as venoms are released in defense to danger. Ifever there is any spill over of the venom, it won't affect the snake itself.

It is not cetain but most snakes are immune to its venom, (even with some other species).

its probably immune to its poison because it has it in its fangs and it is stored in there
