Next time change it to the hair section.
And use some sort of serum. Don't forget about hair straighteners. If you want it to be straight for a long time and if you plan on NOT curling your hair for quite a while, the best bet is to just get your hair thermally straightened. That usually lasts about 6-8 months.

yea i have that awful problem 2 and i know how u feel. i havent found the right product yet but im still expirementing, as far as i've gotten i use TRESEMME straightening gel

there is a hair section for this...
apply anti frizz serum and straighten normally. don't dry it out, using moisturizing hair creams. or take Bryce's advice, which is what i would do.
