I am a single father and I have custody of my two kids and I hate sharing pizza with them. We ordered two medium-size pizzas last time and thanks to them, I only got five slices. When I was single I use to order medium-size pizzas all for myself. I suppose I love my kids and all, but I just hate having to share with them. What am I supposed to do?

1. Switch to two larges for a couple bucks extra.

2. Count your blessings that your kids will eat with you.

3. Change the attitude before it destroys you.

Having kids means having to do a lot of things that you may not like. It requires a lot of sacrifices. It's up to you now: would you rather sacrifice pizza, or would you like to sacrifice a couple more bucks in order to fully feed everyone? The choice is yours. It should be unconditional love from you towards your kids. You obviously got custody for a good reason, right? Just b/c you have them, doesn't mean that you can't lose them later. So charish the moments that you get w/ them now, b/c you might not get them in the future... Think about it.

"I suppose I love my kids"?

Frankly, 5 slices should be more than enough, and 2 medium pizzas between 3 people should last more than one night.

But if you're that hung up on feeding your face, order pizza when the kids are at friends' houses, and check on your priorities.

first of all order more than enough you can always heat it up for lunch tomorrow second, when you are sure you ordered enough for them, find something they don't like on the pizza and get that on yours they will eat the pizza you got for them and leave yours alone also try ordering extra things like cheese bread or salad it's cheaper than a whole pizza and kids love it

I would also like to say to all of the people who are giving you a hard time about your question...hey it is hard being a single parent! he does not need all of you telling him what it is all about he knows the sacrifices! I am sure they are just as much for him as for any other parent..and if all the guy wants is a pizza to himself, who the hell are all of you people to tell him he shouldn't have that?? just answer the questions folks and STOP being so judgmental! remember you will be judged one day for all your wrongful judging by the only judge that really matters.. God bless

Buy two pizzas- one that they like and one that you like. When i used to go out for pizza, I always got a large pizza, but some times a medium. Have you ever considered buying 2 half and half pizzas? It might make everyone happy.

Order the domino's 3 medium for 5 bucks each. That's what I do. Or, if you are really hungry, you can order the 3medium unlimited toppings for 7 bucks each. Our family does it all the time and the kids feel very special having their very own pizza.

Get over it. You are they're primary parent which means you don't get to be selfish.
If you want to stuff yourself like a pig on pizza alone, order one for lunch and hide so no one else asks to share.
If you are so unwilling to share a lousy pizza with the kids I'm frightened at what you are teaching them about the give and take of all relationships.

OK> Weird question with a simple answer. Just order more pizza and tell them that the whole pizza is for you. Do you have some eating disorders? You seem to be greedy about food.

Order 3 pizzas. 1 for each of you. Ask each kid what they want on their own. When the pizza gets there give them each their own box. No more sharing and you will make them feel special.

I hate sharing my pineapple pizza with my kids. I only get one piece before its all gone and I like to eat a couple slices for dinner and have some left over for breakfast.

My solution? I get them something else they like as a treat and get a small pizza for me as a treat.
