Step by step:
How to remove brackets? Multiply by 6 both elements inside the brackets:
25 - 24 + 12 x + 3x = 5 - 13x
Replace 25 minus 24 by 1:
1 + 12x + 3x = 5 - 13x
Replace 12x plus 3x by 15x:
1 + 15x = 5 - 13x
Add 13 x to both sides of the equation:
1 + 28 x = 5
Subtract 1 from both sides of the equation:
28x = 4
Divide both sides of the equation by 4:
7x = 1
Divide both sides of the equation by 7:
x = 1/7
That's the solution.

The second problem is not clear even after your explanation. What's the meaning of question mark in the expression (3x-?)?
