No a bearcat is another name for a binturong which lives in Asia. Picture a large hairy civit that smells like popcorn (no joke). They also go by Palawan Bearcat.

You almost never hear it but wolverines at times are also called a Carcajou. I think there is one more name but I forget what it is.

No, this animal is know as a Binturong. An Asian bearcat. Not really a cat, or bear, but some kind of civet.
