Money. It makes the world go around. It's the root to all evil. To crimes...war...death...and other terrible offenses. Occasionally you hear someone wish that they hoped one day they had all the money in the world so that they could get what they want and be happy...But would they ever be happy? It's almost humanly to build up excitment when you see something you want and once you finally get it...sure. You are glad for a while...but then you see something else and you aren't happy until you get it. So in all words put together, It may be terribly difficult to be happy when you hav all the money in the world because you will never get what you want even though you have all these things that you 'wanted'. But you still don't have what you want because you are never happy. Aside from this...Open your eyes and look around you to see all the starvation, poverty....and death that surrounds you.....Will they ever be...as happy as you?

I don't know how anyone is happy. Being poor or weathly, famous or private, is not going to make you happy or miserable in itself.

Celebrities are never happy because they have been turned into something they are not. Neither are those who are in awe of them as the awe is an artificial awe. Not sure about happiness but fantasies are something entirely. Ever picture a man in a Santa Claus suit flying in a Helicopter or jet throwing bundles of cash to those in Seven Continents who have a strong need of it Might seen a naive fantasy though creating that as a part of Christmas has appeal. Then happiness might be found in food ,cooking. Then setting aside a certain collection of days to have a continental wide gift buying and giving between continents similiar to Christmas except that the idea is that God visits each continent in one day and supplies what is needed to the continent. a sort of God Claus. As giftgiving and purchasing is an area that speaks to people this might work. Receiving gifts of that quantity might make people happy. not sure it will or how practical but Christmas managed to take a different form on two continents and one island so something might work

The answer to your question is as follows:

Potatos,

If everyone thought this way , we'd never be any different than anyone esle.......there is a place for suffering and a place for great happiness and between those is all of creation but then you gotta wonder,......was it always this way?.......then your answer is........ "potatos"......or,..."it doesnt matter"......... unless it matters to you and then it's your responsibility to grab everyone by the hair and yank them to sanity and awareness at the exact samew moment even if it draws blood..........but besides all of what you've suggested,....money is not the root of all evil, money is the creation of men in a world of neediness,........before money is the need to eat and procreate!....and usually in that order..anyone can eat if they have food,......not everyone can procreate if they have no food..now procreation becomes first on the list of all evils.........so half a dozen of one and six of the other and you have the whole chicken complete with egg....."what you do with the egg is up to you"..what you do with the chicken "is up to you and the chicken" if the chicken has any say so in the matter........."I say hooray for the free range potatos" and leave philosophy up to people who can actually make a difference and just hope I'm one of their friends when the time comes "for them to want french fries" and when the plate is clean, render the lard to the squeaky wheel...............it doesnt take a rocket scientist to know everyone is screwed up,.......or does it?........ anyway, the beginning of evil is the need of reproduction for that suggests that one person wants something and another needs something and they may not see eye to eye, or maybe they are looking at the same thing...conflicts of interests or the happy congress of two souls along a specific path......and then comes the phone. and the computer and cyber sex and cell phone sales calls and so forth and so on, pretty soon you dont have time to philosophize,.......it's just the truth,..anhd if you get older?.......well then goody for you and your chicken and her egg and on down the line,......are you tired yet?......feeling a bit anxious?......they have drugs for that too. In the end, we all find out that the meaning of life is in fact "death" and that suffering is just something we all do in between the time the light comes on and the light goes off and if we manage to see someone else suffering besides ourselves?...at any given time or place....then we have too much time on our hands. even if more than one of us notices,......the problem with free time?.......taxes!.taxes are money so it dont matter how much you have, you aint gonna take it with you when your light goes out!!!!!!!!

more often than not - the wanting is the best part - having the goal. the brief moment of dream to reality is not nearly as exciting. but wanting is about hope and future; having becomes past all to quickly.

I think when you're unhappy it's easy to assume money will help and it can be a great distraction or it can help keep the necessities in line so you can focus on the real problem.

Money isn't evil and having or wanting money doesn't make you evil - it's all about intention.

Happiness is contentment with what you have be in little or much. Happy is the man who knows the Lord.

with the paparazzis chasing the famous, it is difficult to be happy.

but i know some people who are rich, famous, and happy. best of all, they have friends too who are not wealthy as them, and are not after their money.

when purpose, instead of money is at the epicentre of friendship, happiness can be achieved. be it wealthy/not =)

Hope this helps, Peace.
