Lonnie Donegan (1931 - 2002) had a hit with this one in 1959. Ah! the good old days! Thanks for the memory.

Does your chewing gum lose its flavour
On the bedpost overnight
If your mother says don't chew it
Do you swallow it in spite
Can you catch it on your tonsils
Can you heave it left and right

No - its acquires a whole new bed-posty flavour

Indeed if it weren't for the chewing gum the whole thing would collapsed due to the amount of notches in it

Maybe I shouldnt have bought it off Russell Brand... it did have gum on it though..

No, as the nuts and bolts hold the bed together perfectly well. If they get loose, out comes the alun key.

No but I do not put it on the bed post I put it in my wife's butt checks after she is asleep, tastes even better the next day.
To be honest it does have a little bit of a gamy hint to it but still good.

My kids did that once- I explained that honestly we could afford more gum, they didn't have to recycle it too.
