I just didn't know how to explain the feeling and thats what the first thing that came to mind.

2. Lower back pain. I can't sit very long. As of Aug 21 my weight was 240lbs. Remember I'm carring twins. 2 wks ago the boys weighed in an estimated twin a 4lbs 6oz and twin b 4lbs 1oz.
I know I only have 6 wks left. Cuz carring twins full term is at 38 wks.

Sorry Gemma B! I think it's the overall pressure that I'm feeling. Trust me I'm an old fashioned girl next door. I'm a one woman for one man!!!

I felt the same way at that gestational age. If I would of still been pregnant I would of been 38 weeks, my girls were born 6 weeks early at 34 weeks. A couple of weeks before that I was having the same kind of feelings you were, I just couldn't wait until I gave birth. Baby A was 4lbs 13oz and Baby B 4lbs 12oz. Just hang in there, get lots of sleep because you won't sleep with the twins around trust me!

You're not alone... the discomfort you are feeling is being caused by increased blood flow and pressure. It will subside...
As for the lower back pain - try a massage. It helped me huge. I bought a good massager and used it on my back, hips, legs, anywhere that hurt.

When I was pregnant with my twins, I was HUGE! I gained over 38 inches and at the end of my pregnancy I weighed about 270. I carried my girls to 37 weeks and they weighed 5.8 and 5.14.

A piece of advice for after the boys are born - get them on the same schedule asap... it will make things so much easier for you. Feed them at the same time and put them down to sleep at the same time. This is the only way that you will be able to get any sleep or get anything around the house accomplished. Getting them on the same schedule allowed me to go out with them and enjoy being a new mom.

Best of luck to you!

do you think that you are starting to drop maybe? I can understand having pressure or an uncomfortable feeling in you pelvic area but seriously I dont know what your description means. I would say that if you think it isnt your babies dropping or something normal the best thing to do is to call your doctor and at least ask...if you dont want to call your doctor call the L&D dept at your hospital.

Please talk to your obstetritian about your discomfort. I imagine it's normal when carrying good sized twins but it was miserable enough just carrying one at a time. I wish you a happy delivery and two beautiful boys!
