I recently began talking to a new guy. We dig each other and things are going good for both of us, but last night we were walking to a bench we usually sit at and i spotted a bird. We noticed almost immediatley it was an owl. He tried to take a picture of it but it flew. I heard owls have to do with death. Should i worry about this or forget it? He's leaving this weakend for a vacation and i'm almost getting worried. Does anyone know more about this type of things? Should i look outside the box and worry about a family member? I don't know.. any advise will help.. thanks

It is crows and Ravens that are legend to have dealt with the crossing from this plain of existance to the other side. Owls were more commonly seen as a good omen since they were said to have been the messengers of the divine spirits of the world.

I take owls as more of a sign of wisdom and warning. Not necessarily of death but of a grave situation. So perhaps if you choose to see it as some kind of omen, maybe it just means that you might want to proceed with caution with this guy. That might be the wise thing to do.

Hearing an owl hoot three nights in a row while you're trying to sleep is the one you're referring to.

Just seeing one doesn't necessarily mean anything

the owl was hunting. its good for it to be out grabbing a bite to eat. it has nothing to do with you, try not to walk little dogs around them. owls have been known to swoop down and grab the little pooch and fly away to dine.

Yes indeed, he will sure die, probably crushed by a falling piano.

But seriously - these things work only for those who believe in them. Don' worry and you're safe.

It means you have nocturnal rodents in the area. You might want to get mouse traps for inside your house.

It is just an unfounded legend that anything like this has any meaning. Do not fret. You are over reacting.
