why did we let it get so bad? is there any hope of changing this disaster!?

I'd say that the main cause of our problems is apathy. Few people care very much about things that don't impact them directly.

I think we have to let it take its course. The only other way is for people in high or noticed places to gain attention so the whole world can see. People to put them selves on the line, like the civil rights movement, Womens movement, you know, when was the last time you seen such effort from people, the state has us where they want us, they have made us feel like we are helpless and they have it all under control with knowledge. The day will come when things will work out. Well I hope so.

No. As long as there are people, there will be disasters. Want to change it? Get rid of the people.

when you say we what do you mean exactly? how can one person be responsible for all the worlds ills?
