Definitely English, I love the understated humor/humour. Also, the English are brutally honest and self-effacing, which I think adds to the fun!

The funniest stuff I've seen is American, but English humor is more likely to be enjoyed. In other words, the English throw less darts, but hit the bullseye at a greater rate.

huh? I enjoy a cheeky sense of humour... the one that plays silly pranks (where noone gets hurt of course) soooo is that labelled as English or American.....I don't know!

well, i am American but i really like the British comedies on public television. have watched them for years, have seen all of them a hundred times and still find them hilarious. especially John Cleese. he is a born comedian. that's not to say i don't like American humor. we have some really funny ones too.

Both. I like Monty Python, but whenever I watch America's Funniest Home Videos, I always like to see someone fall down or get hit in the balls.
