I would say John Saul, Michael Crighton, James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark and Richard Bachman (Stephen King's other pen name). I hope she has a speedy recovery.

Stephen King defiently. he's so gifted. i like his mini sequence alongside with Kingdom well being midsection and The Stand. i like getting over excited in his books too. the flicks are truly thrilling as you are able to tell. he's only something new than each and all the comparable horror action picture/ e book stuff. He bottles your innovations and makes you think of in an completely in yet differently way. he's dazzling. nicely, in any case that is my opinion

Tarzan of the Apes

(Okay, that's nothing like Koontz and King, but it's appropriately printed on pulp, like Koontz and King's early books).

If she read every Koontz, did she read Demon Seed? Did she like it? LOL. I thought it stunk.
