I brought soft contact lenses, but I do not know and have not tried putting it into my eyes yet. This is my first time. How do you know if it fits into your eye?

first of all i DO NOT recommend buying contact lenses without going through a professional optician.

i wear lenses and when I first started using them the lenses really affected my eyes and now i have small sores on the inside of my eyelids that will never go away. they dont affect my everyday life but my eyes get dry easily and are very sensitive. your eyes are very important and i wouldnt jeopordise that for vanity.

anyway back to the question : ) you will now if they dont fit as they just wont feel right, its hard to explain but youll just know.

I tried contact lenses but my eyes were always red and scratchy.

Your optometrist should explain to you how to put them in your eye. There's a wrong and a right way.

Most importantly, you need to take them out in the evening and clean them. And throw them away after a month. Otherwise you'll end up with eye infection.

you put it in your eye to see if it fits , i just got my contacts yesterday . the eye doctor should have put them in for you the first time? but if you think they feel uncomfortable then you have to go back to the eyedoctor and tell him/her . it might take multiple pairs until you get the right fit!:]

Your eye doctor should have walked you through the steps of puttin in your contacts, if he didn't, he's not a good doctor.
Get another eye doctor.

If they are uncomfortable , then most likely they do not fit . An eye doctor can tell for sure .

you have to stretch open your eyelid to put them onto the pupil. don't worry about it, if you really are, contact your optomologist.
