Do you think that people can be psychic?

I think there are frauds, but still it is possible for people to have what you might call 'the sight' What do you think?

I think we're all sort of psychic. Have you ever thought about someone and then right then they called you on the telephone? Have you ever had a dream come true? I sometimes get deja vous w/ things that i've dreamt.

I have a habit of calling or writing to my cousin just when she was about to call or write me... so we think we are a little psychic. I have a friend that actually does readings and is right alot! She said i was going to have a boy, with dark hair, and all kinds of stuff that came true.
I get deja vous all the time. Some one told me that it was that my brain was putting the event into my long term memory so fast that it felt like it already happened. So that could be it....

Anything is possible, but most have been proven frauds who claim to be Psychic.

Probably it is a transient and unreliable gift at best. There is evidence that the CIA was experimenting with "remote veiwing" a number of years ago; then it went underground all the sudden.

If there are real Psychics, I bet they are under lock and key.

Yes. There are entirely too many instances of it occurring to everyday people. Dreaming or thinking of someone who you have not seen in years and that very person calls or shows up a day or two later, Knowing who is calling you on the phone without looking at the caller ID, whistling or singing a song and that very same song happens to be on the radio when you turn it on, and so on and so forth.

I do believe that my mom has the gift and so did my aunt when we are coonected to love ones I think we all have the abilitiy we sense things we worry we feel stuff we are super sensitive to these things we have dreams etc..I have had vision dreams and they came true or they were warnings that I actually changed because i saw the future ahead of time like two years but its true. i think through meditation and prayer and remembering our dreams writing them down focusing on our lives and the people in our lives we can see or feel things that are special situations that would be impossible in every day living I truly believe it is a gift and a spiritual thing from God and that these gifts should not be used for profit etc.......................

I think there are a number of people out there who do have "a gift". But I don't think that everybody who claims to be psychic, actually are. It's something that can be faked rather easily, and a lot of people seem to be able to get away with it. I also don't think it's a talent that can be learned, I think it's something that one has to be born with.
We all get dejavious from time to time......it doesn't mean your are psychic.

We are all psychic, but for the majority the gift or the belief has been long knocked out of them. Educated out is another way of looking at it. Many professional psychics have grown up in a psychic friendly environment. Perhaps a grand-parent or parent with the knowledge has helped bring the extra sense out in the open and encouraged its use. But there are as many practicing psychics who have not had the benefit of caring psychic guidance and who have still managed to develop and hone this natural extra sense.

yer i do think its possible to be psychic, you might think im being crazy but me and my friends have tried out little test for fun and they worked! we can tell what colour the other is thinking of also animals, and i have known a number my friend was thinking of between 1 ~ 100 twice

this could just be because we are very close or influences around us or something but i think there is some truth in it

well not a deja vu [or whatever], but i think people can by hyper-observant. like in psych. or someone could be able to predict what might happen next due to previous situations similar to it.

it happened to me. i guessed something was gonna happen [i dont remember what thing exactly] and it really did. but, its all possible.

edit: and that one incident at O'Hare, someone had a nightmare of a really bad crash, and eventually happened.

No one can read another person's mind No One. A person can guess and speculate and even be correct but, Never read another's mind and thoughts like a book.

Any one being honest about this idea would Dislike their thoughts being privy to someone else.

ya i had a friend who had a dream that the cover of one of the harry potter books was going to be an owl. she was really convinced too. anyways i think we all have deja vous occasionally.
