El Salvador
El Salvador is a beautiful country in Central America. Its population has increased to 6 million people, and it has an area of about 20,746 km.(8124 miles). El Salvador's capital is San Salvador. The official language that is heard in the streets of El Salvador is Spanish. The monetary unit used to be colones but now, it is the U.S. dollar. The National anthem of El Salvador is el Himno Nacional de El Salvador . Its national bird is el Torogoz, also known as el talapo. El Salvador's national flower is La Flor de Izote, and the national tree is Mauquilishuat. The precious flag belonging to my country is blue and white, the blue representing the blue oceans surrounding Central America (Pacific& Atlantic oceans), and the white represents peace for all!
