is there any water falls that i can hike down to and swim in

Of course there are lots of water adventures and snorkeling is good. Lava beds abound, I got married standing on a lava bed in a church yard.....main drag, you won't miss it, is ancient, like 1600s and they still hold services there.
There are museums and lots of parks, volcano observatories, helicopter rides "over" the volcanos so you can look down in them and see the molten lava, and of course Kona Coffee comes from there, so that is a possible visit.

there seem to be waterfalls galore. google Kona, Hawaii and you will find many sites to interest you. have a good trip/
