Yes it is possible, but obviously it's not healthy. Also, don't just assume that you can work 24 hours right off the bat. It is easier to pull an all-nighter if you've already done it.
I would not start drinking caffeine all day to try to pull one off. If you're facing a deadline, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. Try not to use anything to keep you awake. I like to listen to music when I try pulling all-nighters, or stop here and there to do something else to stay awake (watch tv, play a quick video game, talk to someone). Probably the best thing to do to keep awake is just to walk around, and this should alleviate some of the neck / back pain you'll get from staying on the computer too long.
Good luck! It's totally possible to pull one off. I'm a student and have had to stay awake for 24 hours a couple times.

Yes, but don't drive home. I have done many 24 hour stints in front of the computer. One time tried to drive home afterward without a quick nap. Almost fell asleep while driving.
Best way to handle it, I find, is to take 15 mins naps during the night. Keep a timer around or use the computer clock to wake you.

Yes. An average human can remain awake for up to three days. Anything beyond that classifies you as insane. I have no idea why, but it's the truth. Ask a psychologist.
A man actually died in an internet cafe recently because he stayed up too long plaing a video game. So be careful

When I was an active police officer I did it very often.
I remember one time I was testifying on a armed robbery after working a fresh murder for over 30 hours straight. After court I got someone to drive me home but it just happens sometimes.
As I got older it got a lot harder and the strange hours helped to ruin my health.

It is definitely possible, though you would have to take a lot of breaks and would probably be in a very bad mood towards the end of the day.

Yes, I have done it. But by the end of the 24 hours your work output it pretty crummy compared to when you are well rested.

It is possible, but the longer you work the higher the possibility of mistakes in your work. And when you drive home it might not be pretty if you fall asleep at the wheel.
