Im awaiting the arrival of my macbookpro and I was going to use it for gaming(WoW, BF2, and so on) Until I start college. I was going to use the bootcamp software to play these games. I was wondering, Is it possible to get viruses or to screw the mac up through windows xp via bootcamp? Or is it still almost impossible because ill still be using my mac?

You can get a virus in the Windows partition, but it shouldn't be able to affect the OSX partition. OSX can read and write to the Windows part of the computer but Windows can't access the OSX part.

the windows installation can become infected, but the underlying mac operating system will not be affected by a windows virus - there's a slim possibility that if there is a virtual network/drive link between the two operating systems (ie. access to the mac partition through windows) AND the virus is designed to delete files it could get at your mac files that way, but it's unlikely.
