I'm trying to get hold of a copy of the "Labyrinth". I think it's by A.H Smith, and it's the one they turned into a film with David Bowie in. Does anyone know where I might find it (other than amazon they cost the earth)?

p.s I'm in the U.K

I saw a few copies on amazon's uk site, but they aren't especially cheap. There are also a few copies on the amazon us site, but the cheapest one is around $42. I looked on half.com and bn.com as well, but they are also pricey. I didn't know there was a book related to the film. Love that movie!

I'm in the U.S. but I get a lot of my older books at Ebay. Funny thing is I get most of them from the U.K., so you should be able to find something there as well. Just go on and search for the title you want under books and they will either have a spot to bid or buy directly. Being a member of Ebay and just buying is free. Sometimes you have to keep looking there to find it though. Also on Amazon have you checked out the used books for sale? You look up the item and it will tell you that you can buy it new or used and how many they have available. You can also check with your local bookstore, if it is still in print and they do not stock it, they should be able to order it for you.

Try bookfinder.com...it searches several book websites at once (including rare and out of print book dealers).

Did you try amazon.co.uk?
Check also bn.com (Barnes & Noble) and Amazon in the used books section.

Look around used book stores.
If you happen to have a bookmans in UK, that's a great place to go.
