when i meditate i say 'hummm... hummm...' but buddha doesnt understand what im meditating because it's only 'hummm hummm hummm'

I can't assume the lotus position since my tummy gets in the way. So I go to our home theatre which is sound proof, and pull the drapes to achieve total darkness. I then turn the aircon on so I can close the door and shut the noise out. I then fill the room with the scent of lavander by lighting the flask that is filled with essential oils. I play Gregorian chants to help me relax. I then sit on a comfortable chair. And close my eyes.
With my eyes closed, I start to "mind-talk" my bodyparts into complete relaxation, starting with my toes. As i do these, I imagine a faint ray of light entering my body, from my toes. On to my legs, my thighs, my waist, my upper torso, my arms, my shoulders, my neck, chin, mouth, nose, ears, eyes, and on to my scalp. Once completely relaxed, I let go of thoughts, and get lost. Then I see light, and realize that the room lights are on. And see my daughter standing by the door, saying "Daddy, punta na tayo sa Starbucks, sige na, you promised we'll buy oreo cheese cake today!".
End of meditation. I forgot to lock the door.
