I am sick of buying feeders and having to quarantine them for a few weeks. I am going to set up a 20 gallon live bearer tank and breeder a livebearer or livebearers to feed to my oscar. I figure if I can sustain my oscar off of my livebearers I could save money in the long run, as well as eliminate the risk of disease in feeders.

dalamatian molly fry are really big

They also grow much faster in a big tank, then in these small breeders

Hope that helps
Good luck

Edit*

the more often the female has fry, the more fry you will get from them
like a young guppy, usually has about 10-15 fry the first time, but can have up to 40 at one batch

Pretty much all livebearers are actually the same

Well, it might be better if you have a guppy tank and breed them. They have the smallest baby but yeah. Swordtails and mollies might be a better choice for you.

Keep the mollies and swordtails healthy.
