I discovered on my wedding day the answer to this question.
When women wear full length dresses with complicated undergarments, it really helps protect the garment to have an extra pair of hands holding the yards and yards of fabric out of the way. Throughout history, women who wore such garments probably developed a habit of going to the bathroom together for practical reasons. Why we still do it today is probably just social conditioning. Or a real desire to talk about the men behind their backs.

I would like to believe they are secretly kissing each other and exchangine arousing stories. In reality, probably not. But hey, what goes on in the womans bathroom stays in the womans bathroom. When it comes to men, their poo just stinks more. Its a proven fact.

Women go to the bathroom together to gossip about the men. Do you ever gossip about your women in pairs?

Women like to watch each other pee, men don't. Also, women gossip a lot and discuss men whereas men aren't obsessed with women and can actually stay in silence while taking a whizz.
Codrina, funny how soooo many women are good literature writers eh? Funny how soooo many playwrights, directors and songwriters are women eh? Even in the last fifty years, let's forget about the greats like Dickens and Shakespeare. Most female artists make a living by bashing men, while male artists appeal to both sexes.

I think there is a video link in the bathroom, so they can report in with the secret feminist world domination movement.

Women have to pee a lot anyway, so we "walk" together to the toilet. We don't pee together. Besides, there is safety in numbers. Good question, though.

Strength in number (safety), someone to tell you when your skirt is tucked into your panyhose, someone to tell you YOUR date is ugly or cute......... we also don't pee in urinals and stand around each other, so we can be comfortable with each other in the bathroom, and still have privacy.
