Yeah, it is rather dumb he said that, if Kanye beat him then he had let his crew down and the people who like his music. 50 should think harder of what he said, and besides Kanye said that his album and 50 will both provide the best music of this year.
Either way, no rapper should retire because of that motive, that's just dumb. 50 and Kanye are the best, it will be wrong if they both retire.

Kayne has got him beat hands down, he's probably saying that because he's jealous. Kayne has got a lot more individuality and intelligence in his music, and he does his own music. 50 cent needs to grow up and quit pouting. Jeesh.

if 50 sells more then he'll say i told you so. if he sells less he'll say he drank too much cognac and was talkin out his ***. or the VERY unlikely thing could happen he's a man of his word and lives up to a rediculous, foolish statement and quits. he should relax his ego and just make $$$. even the 10th best rapper around has houses ,cars, and ho's.

He doesn't "sing" anything. He raps it, and he is way overrated. Kanye(correct spelling) talks about real issues in life in his work not just about how great he is, which is what 50 does. I think he is just talking out of turn. He won't actually quit.

50 used to be sick, the massacre was a good album.. even you can't sait you didn't like one song of it. Now.. he's run out of stuff to brag about... his songs are just sooo wack, obviously kanye will sell more albums, then hopefully 50 will stay tru to his words and quit!!!
