ok im realy want to know when it comes out i love the tv show and i thingk that they should let there be more episodes till they do everything like in the books i mean it every episode they have in the books becuase i rather watch the shows then read plus they we are like begging them we miss the show and they should do this becuase we all love the shows and movies just because some people dont like them souldnt mean we have to suffer.

Inu Yasha tv ended 3 years ago and the only reason the movie 4 was released was because it was on the last stages of production. It ended because the anime caught up with the manga and the producers decided finish it honorably rather than make it live through countless fillers.
The only thing that we know is that the producers said they will continue the series on OVA format. They never said they will make a fifth movie.
