You can use transmission fluid in place of power steering fluid. Brake fluid wouldn't mix with steering fluid and would eat the seals.

Never. The brake fluid will destroy every component in your steering system.

Brake fluid is extemely corrosive and should never be used for anything else besides brake systems.

no its transmission fluid but check with parts store for the brand for your car.
