my doctor said in a nonchalant way that my cervix was "waaaay back there" does that mean it will be harder for me to get pregnant?

No, he would have mentioned that if it was the case. My doctor had said a few things that left me wondering. They forget how sensitive we are about these things! When you are ovulating your cervix is low and open allowing sperm to get in and travel to where it needs to go.

It shouldn't pose a problem. What a professional doctor you have, LOL. The sperms will just have to swim a little further. . but I am sure it will be just as easy to get pregnant as someone who has a cervix "wayyy up close" LOL. Don't stress . .if you are concerned and TTC then call your doc and see if there will be any kind of difficulties. Otherwise, enjoy your baby-making!

No, your cervix moves at different times of the month. It also moves back when you are aroused (I know you weren't at the time but it can happen then too) So it is normal. It does not effect whether or not you can get pregnant.

Nah, my gyn said mine was tilted, and she said (obviously when I freaked out about being able to conceive) that every woman's body is different, and the position of the cervix has very little to do with their ability to conceive.

Not positive, but your doctor could also be referring to its general situation in your abdomen. If your cervix (and your uterus) are more towards your back than your front, it could result in more back labor during labor.

no, your cervix has nothing to do with that. Pregnancy is from the ovaries and uterine tubes and then into the uterus. The cervix is for childbirth. Its where the baby comes out.

no, and the doc is a jerk.. what he meant in his rudeness was that your vagina is long.. well longer then some i guess. which also means that your body can physically accomodate a larger male..
