Not a good idea but I do think they should be allowed on SideWalks and Walking Trails, That would be a lot of Fun!

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Some reasons:

1. They are virtually invisible to cagers. If you think cagers have a hard time seeing regular motorcycles, then just imagine how it would be with pocket bikes.

2. They are not reliable. They are cheap crap mostly. (Yes I know there are some that are high quality, but how many kids have bought them?). And there is a stability issue due to their small size and weight.

3. As others have mentioned, they offer no protection whatsoever. And they often don't have the power necessary to escape a hazardous situation as a motorcycle does.

When a midget motorcycle gets whacked by a car or truck, the driver will only think he or she ran over the neighbors cat and keep on going down the road. Wouldn't catch me cruisn' the mean streets on one. However, on some vacant lot, I'd enjoy racing for pinks with one of the midget bikes. My grand kids could use a new toy!

No.Small motorcycles are hard enough to see and don't have the power to get out of all dangerous situations. Minis are unsafe to operate on the road.

have you studied Darwin? The survival of the fittest section? Any fool who would take a toy M/C onto a public street and expect to survive is a prime candidate for retroactive abortion. We don't need them contaminating the gene pool.

No. Imagine what a Ford Expedition or a Suburban would do to someone riding one of those? The driver would probably never see what he ran over.

Nope. They're too low to the ground, a car driver would not be able to see one.
