Why are there no groups such as peta for children, okay yeah there is dhs, but they dont do so well, often times sending children back to abusive homes only for those kids to die later, happens too much. Why are there no groups rallying around the health and well being of our kids? What about the protection and ethical treatment of kids? my rant is over, what are your veiws?

I am with you on this. I signed up and took all of the classes to become a foster parent and you know why I quit? It was because they explained to me that the number one concern is to put the children back in the very homes that they have been removed from. The very place where they were abused to begin with.

A single case worker with DCF can have far too many cases to keep up with in one month so they end up missing some of the children.

There are far too many children being born every day to parents that can not take care of them and once removed, all they do is push the problems off on an overworked case worker who is trying to keep up with hundreds of children every single month.

There are a ton of them. Too many, in fact. The Parents Music Resource Center, the "Family Matters" group or whatever they're called... all types of people who like to write letters to TV, radio, and video game producers, demanding they make their stuff boring (aka "family-safe").

children can have rights too, when they start staying and sleeping in the yard at night and eating off the floor.
